Mrs. Ogechi Ijeoma Gloria Bankole is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature from Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Ilorin.
Her research interests lie in the areas of cognitive and functional linguistics, with a focus on how language reflects and shapes human thought, social interaction, and communicative behavior. She brings a grounded theoretical perspective to her scholarly work and is committed to advancing meaningful contributions within these fields.
Mrs. Bankole has considerable experience in Open and Distance Learning, equipping her with a versatile and inclusive approach to education. She is deeply passionate about providing robust learning experiences for students across diverse learning environments, ensuring that quality education remains accessible, engaging, and impactful regardless of mode of delivery.
