Monsurat Aramide Nurudeen (Ph.D.) is a lecturer at the department of English, Faculty of Arts, University of Ilorin. She has over a decade experience as an educator and an academic advisor. She has taught English for academic purposes and English for second language courses to undergraduate students within the University.

Her research interest is in Multimodal Discourse, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, and Humour. She was a member of English Scholars’ Association of Nigeria (ESAN) and Poetics and Linguistic Association (PALA), and has to her credit several publications in reputable local, National, and International outlets. She has also attended and presented papers at academic conferences.
