It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of English and Literary Studies. As the Head, it is a rare honour for me to oversee a thriving community, who have excelled greatly in English Studies. The Department has produced winners of Nigerian National Merit Award in Humanities and several other national literary prizes in creative writings and critical essays. Through internationally funded fellowship, we have continued widely to attract substantial number of readers and remarkable feedback from users worldwide.
